This place reminded me of Little Big Burger in Portland. Kind of a local up and comer that could potentially follow in the foot steps of bigger burger spots like Shack Shack and Five Guys. These guys definitely have potential to be really big. All the good stuff seem to be in place…the hip decor, friendly staff, and most importantly good yet affordable food.
I came here at 9 PM on a Wednesday and was surprised on how busy this place was. Luckily there was no line until after I got my food but it was a good nine people deep and never really died down the whole time I was there. I ordered the Mini Burger with bacon and all the free toppings (lettuce, tomato, red onions, super sauce,
jalapeno peppers, grilled onions, and pickles) for about $6 after tax and the garlic fries with three dipping sauces (Super sauce, homemade mayo, Chipotle) for $3 and $1, respectively. So a grand total of about $10 after tax.
The burger was above average but what I really loved about this place was the garlic fries and dipping sauces. Awesome stuff. Where else can you get garlic fries outside of a sports arena? Really though, I don’t know why more places don’t have garlic fries. Obviously people love this stuff if they are willing to pay $10 at a stadium for it. The garlic fries are good by them selves but add in the Super Duper sauce and it is fricking amazing. To be honest I don’t know what the Super Duper sauce is and I can’t really describe it (I know, terrible for a someone that writes about food). Whatever, it’s damn good…just get it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
When I’m looking to make my fat day count I will be back here for sure. I will be getting their spiked shake next time for sure.
Note – These guys have pickle spheres hidden next to the fountain drinks.
